Short biography
Eilleen Edwards was born 28th August 1965 in Windsor, Ontario Canada.
Her parents Sharon and Clarence Edwards separated in 1968 and Sharon moved to Timmins.Sharon marries Jerry Twain,an Ojibwa indian from Timmins.
She played in a band called "Longshot" in the Timmins area around 1984-87.In 1887 Sharon and Jerry dies in a car accident and Shania becomes guardian of her siblings.
In 1991 she changes her name from Eilleen to Shania,which means"I'm on my way"

Shania and Mutt
Shania and Mutt first met in person at 1993's Fan Fair and while working on "The Woman In Me" they fell in love. Mutt proposed in Paris and only six months after they met,they got married on 28th December 1993 in Huntsville.Shania has also been a vegetarian since she married Mutt.

The love child
August 12th 2001,Shania's gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.They named him Eja (Pronounced Aisa).
